Daniella Sosdjan
Daniella is a genuine, compassionate, respectful, and reflective therapist with approximately 25 years of clinical experience. Daniella has clinical experience with a wide range of challenges: single-event trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal problems, stress, self‐esteem, PTSD, ADHD, self-harm behaviors, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Daniella’s approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and client-centered. Daniella utilizes an integrative counseling approach incorporating theoretical views of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Existential Analysis, Internal Family Systems, and Affective Neuroscience. Daniella’s goal is to assist and empower individuals and families to achieve their identified counseling goals, and thus, enhance their personal and social well-being.
In addition to offering therapy, Daniella provides clinical social work supervision for social workers in Alberta. Daniella has over 15 years of experience providing clinical supervision.
Daniella obtained a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member in good standing with the Alberta College of Social Work.
